1. Sagrada Família
A visit to Barcelona is not complete without admiring Sagrada Família. This is Gaudi’s most popular building and there’s a good reason why: it’s an absolute master piece!
If you want to have a complete shot of this beauty, head over to the park in front of Sagrada Família where you’ll find a few spots to take some impressive pictures. They’re also ideal locations to just enjoy the view.

2. Casa Batlló

Casa Batlló is another highlight that was designed by Antoni Gaudí. This building is a piece of art and definitely something you need to see during your stay in Barcelona.
You can admire it from the outside or make your way in to visit the inside. Entrance tickets are €35 per person and are advised to be booked in advance.
In terms of taking photo’s here: this can be a little challenging as this spot gets pretty crowded during the day. I advice to come first thing in the morning if you want to see this stunning building without a huge crowd in front of you.
An additional tip is to cross the street where you’ll find another great photo spot!

If your agenda allows it, plan your trip around the 23rd of April. On this day, roses and books are exchanged to celebrate the tradition of Sant Jordi. Many people in the city are carrying roses that day while Casa Batlló is decorated with hundreds of red roses. Definitely something to consider when booking your next trip to Barcelona!
